Congregation
We are a small group of people devoted to practising and sharing the life of the early Christian Essenes.
Some of us live together in community to support each other in our desire to be at one with God, and to provide this opportunity for others who would like to discover it for themselves through the teaching and practice of the Essenes.
We meet regularly to encourage each other, pray and listen to the teachings and scriptures of the Essenes and Jesus. We are also committed to carrying out acts of charity in the wider community, helping those who suffer and are in need, to the best of our ability.
Yasha Zvi Lavie
Our congregation is led by Yasha Zvi Lavie, who has been following and sharing the ancient wisdom of the Essenes for many years. Born in Jerusalem to a Hungarian father and an Israeli mother, Yasha grew up within the Jewish religion, but later in life discovered the Essenes, their religious teachings and profound understandings of the nature of life and God.

Since then, Yasha has devoted himself to bringing the teachings of the Essenes and Jesus to a widening circle of congregants. It has been his honour to serve God and humanity by making it his life's work to spread the message of God's unconditional love for all.
